The National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) peer review took place at Abasyn University Peshawar from 02-04 March 2020.The objective of this visit was in-depth review of the Business School based upon the nine key standards of NBEAC.

The peer review panel (PRP) held detailed formal and informal discussions with Vice Chancellor (Dr. Umar Farooq), HOD Department of Management Sciences (DMS), (Dr. Waqar Alam), Director Finance, Director Admission office, Exam controller, different Administrative Heads, faculty members and students while reviewing the self-assessment report in detail. PRP also had the opportunity to discuss the overall vision, mission and strategy with different stakeholders to understand how the school was addressing the various dimensions that are included in the NBEAC standards.

The members of the peer review team (PRT) were Dr. Abdul Raziq (Professor, Bahria University Karachi), Dr. Nadeem Khan (HoD, Business Studies Department & Assistant Professor, PIDE), Dr. Imran Riaz (Associate Professor, IQRA University Islamabad Campus), Mr. Mohsin Wadud (CEO, Wadud Woolen Mills) and Mr. Usman Jadoon (Assistant Manager Accreditation)

A detailed report along with the accreditation decision communicated to the Institute after the council meeting.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters.
