The National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) peer review took place in IQRA National University, Peshawar from 29th of April 2019 to 1st of May 2019.
During the visit, the peer review team (PRT) held detailed formal and informal discussions with the Vice Chancellor (VC) of the IQRA National University, Peshawar, (Dr. Farzand Ali Jan), Dean of the Faculty (Dr. Muhammad Nadeem Safwan) and Head of Department of Business Administration / Department Chairman (Dr. Khursheed Iqbal). The PRT also engaged in discussion with the faculty and the staff while reviewing the self-assessment report in detail. PRT also had the opportunity to discuss the overall vision, mission and strategy of IQRA National University, Peshawar with the VC. PRT also met various stakeholders to understand how the department is addressing the various quality dimensions that are included in the NBEAC standards. During the visit, the PRT had the opportunity of meeting students of BBA and MBA programs and some former students. Visits to library, laboratories and overall building, classrooms and infrastructure was also made. PRT members also visited some class sessions and interacted with the students informally in the walkways and after classes.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
