The National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) peer review took place at Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), BahaUddin Zakaria University from 26 October 2020 to 28 October 2020.The objective of this visit was in-depth review of the Business School based upon the nine key standards of NBEAC.
The peer review panel (PRP) held detailed formal and informal discussions with Vice Chancellor (Prof. Dr. Mansoor Akbar Kundi) Pro Vice Chancellor (Prof. Dr. Aleem Khan), Director Qec (Dr. M. Farooq), Dean (Prof. Dr. M. Shoukat Malik), HOD Department of Management Sciences (Prof. Dr. M. Nauman Abbasi), Director Admission office, Exams controller, different Administrative Heads, faculty members and students while reviewing the self-assessment report in detail. PRP also had the opportunity to discuss the overall vision, mission and strategy with different stakeholders to understand how the school was addressing the various dimensions that are included in the NBEAC standards.
The members of the peer review team (PRT) were Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Khan (HoD, Business Studies Department, PIDE), Dr. Niaz Ahmed Bhutto (HoD, Sukkur IBA University), Dr. Khurram Shehzad, (Dean, Riphah International University, Rawalpindi), Mr. Yasir Malik (Regional Sales Manager Merchant Acquiring, Bank Alfalah, Multan) and Ms. Sania Tufail (SPM- NBEAC Accreditation).

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
