The National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) peer review took place at Government College University, Faisalabad, Lyallpur Business School from 16 November 2020 to 18 November 2020.The objective of this visit was in-depth review of the Business School based upon the nine key standards of NBEAC.
The peer review panel (PRP) held detailed formal and informal discussions with Vice Chancellor (Prof. Dr. Shahid Kamal), Dean (Prof. Dr. Hazoor Muhammad Sabir), Director LBS (Dr. Muhammad Abrar), Registrar (Mr. Ghulam Ghous), Director Academic (Dr. Salma Sultana), Director Exams (Mr. Shahid Javed), Director Finance (Mr. Nadeem Mushtaq), Head QEC (Dr. Khalid Zia),Focal Person (Dr. Muhammad Wasim Bari), different Administrative Heads, faculty members and students while reviewing the self-assessment report in detail. PRP also had the opportunity to discuss the overall vision, mission and strategy with different stakeholders to understand how the school was addressing the various dimensions that are included in the NBEAC standards.
The members of the peer review team (PRT) were Dr. Abdul Raziq (Dean, Loralai, Balochistan), Dr. Razaullah (Assistant Professor, Islamia College University, Peshawar), Mr. Muhammad Yasar (Senior Vice President, Meezan Bank Limited Faisalabad), and Muhammad Irfan Khan (Assistant Manager- NBEAC Accreditation).

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
