The National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) peer review visit took place at COMSATS University WAH from 06th of June 2022 to 8th of June 2022.
During the visit, the peer review team held detailed formal and informal discussions with the Vice Chancellor of the COMSATS University WAH, Dean of the Faculty and Head of Department of Business Administration. The PRT also engaged in discussion with the faculty and the staff while reviewing the self-assessment report in detail. PRT also had the opportunity to discuss the overall vision, mission and strategy of COMSATS University WAH with the VC. PRT also met various stakeholders to understand how the department is addressing the various quality dimensions that are included in the NBEAC standards. During the visit, the PRT had the opportunity of meeting students. Visits to library, laboratories and overall building, classrooms and infrastructure was also made. PRT members also visited some class sessions and interacted with the students informally in the walkways and after classes.
The members of the peer review team were Dr. Zaki Rashidi- Chairman Faculty of Business Administration, IQRA University Karachi, Dr. Nauman Abbasi- Director, Institute of Management Sciences, BZU, Multan, Prof Amanullah Khan- Dean, Mohiuddin Islamic University, Sihala Campus, Dr. Zainab Bibi-Dean and Professor, University of Balochistan, Mr. Atif Shafiq Awan- Branch Manager, Faysal Bank and Mr. Ahtesham Ali Raja. A detailed report along with the accreditation decision communicated to the university after the Council Meeting.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
