The National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) peer review visit took place at Institute of Business Administration, The University of Punjab, Lahore from August 15, 2022, to August 17, 2022. The objective of this visit was an in-depth review of the Business School based on the nine key standards of NBEAC.

The peer review panel (PRP) held detailed formal and informal discussions with Vice Chancellor (Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar) Dean (Prof. Dr. Mumtaz Anwar Chaudhry), HoD (Prof. Dr. Muqqadas Rehman), Focal Person (Dr. Sania Zahara Malik), Registrar, Director QEC, Director Admission office, Exam controller, different Administrative Heads, faculty members and students while reviewing the self-assessment report in detail. PRP also had the opportunity to discuss the overall vision, mission, and strategy with different stakeholders to understand how the school was addressing the various dimensions that are included in the NBEAC standards. The members of the peer review team (PRT) were Dr. Abdul Rehman (Dean, Islamic International University, Islamabad), Dr. Muhammad Abrar (Chairperson, Department of Public Administration, Govt. College University, Faisalabad), Dr. Usman Ghani (Joint Director, Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar), Dr. Muhammad Hanif Akhtar (Chairperson, Department of Commerce, Bahauddin Zakaria University, Multan), Mr. Mohsin Nishat (HR Head, Sapphire Group of Companies), Mr. Muhammad Irfan Khan (Assistant Manager, NBEAC).

A detailed report along with the accreditation decision will be communicated to the Institute after the council’s 30th meeting.
