The NBEAC re-accreditation process corresponds closely with the initial accreditation process.  This process provides an opportunity for the NBEAC to review the accredited program and work with peer reviewers and industry experts to ensure that NBEAC guidelines and requirements are being observed and that students are receiving high quality of business education as well as practical know how and exposure regarding the industry. This is a light touch process compared to the initial accreditation and essentially records a review of the previous two or three years and captures any changes or improvements made or planned.

With regard to this, NBEAC successfully completed a reaccreditation Visit at the Institute of Management and Sciences (IM Sciences), Peshawar on the 16th, 17th and 18th of October 2017. After the warm welcome by the business school, brief discussions were held regarding the distinctive characteristics and features of the NBEAC accreditation. This was followed by a tour of the business school, which was later followed by six sessions on NBEAC standards with the heads of the of the business school on the first day. The objective of this visit was in-depth review of the Business School based upon the nine key standards of NBEAC.

The three day extensive review involved meetings, discussions and interviews with management, faculty, students, alumni, Industry representatives, support staff, and observing the course delivery methods. The objective of Peer Review Team (PRT) is to make recommendations through gap analysis for the improvement of Business School.

The Peer Review team comprised of Dr. Zahoor Hassan Syed, Professor, LUMS, Dr. Farrukh Iqbal, Director, IBA Karachi, Dr. Kumail Abbas Rizvi, Associate Professor, Lahore School of Economics, Mr. Adil Amin Kazi, Assistant Professor, FAST School of Management, FAST_NU, Islamabad, Mr. Mohsin Wadud, CEO, Wadud Woolen Mills Ltd. (Industry Representative) and Ms. Sania Tufail, Program Manager, NBEAC
