In league with its focus on providing guidance as well as authenticating the standards established by universities, the NBEAC Peer Review Team (PRT) visited Sarhad University of Science and Technology (SUIT) Peshawar on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. This three-day re-accreditation visit comprised of nine sessions, concluding with PRT Chairman’s feedback to the Dean, HoD and representatives of the University.

The Peer Review Team (PRT) received a warm welcome by the Dean, HoD and representatives of SUIT, and were given a brief presentation on the University and its functions. The team was also given a tour of the campus facilities. The activities that followed included meetings, discussions and interviews with management, faculty, students, alumni, industry representatives and support staff. While assessing the portfolio of SUIT, the PRT shared its observations and made recommendations on areas for improvement. The feedback and suggestions were well-taken by the Dean and Management of SUIT and NBEAC Peer Review Team much appreciated the hospitality and organization of the visit.

The purpose of this in-depth review was to ensure that NBEAC standards are followed and that the scholarship is of the highest quality, contributing towards shaping successful careers for graduates. A detailed report along with the accreditation decision will be communicated to Sarhad University of Science and Technology (SUIT), Peshawar in the 20th Council meeting to be held in Aug-Sept 2018.
