NBEAC aims to assess institutions that are offering business education programs to pursue excellence with a focus on continuous improvements. With the responsibility to assess the progress of National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences (nu FAST), specifically addressing compliance of FAST School of Management (FSM) with NBEAC Standards of Accreditation, a visit of our Peer Review Team (PRT) was scheduled on September 25-27, 2018.

NBEAC PRT spent three days reviewing the various aspects of FAST School of Management (FSM), starting with a briefing presentation, followed by nine sessions and concluding with PRT Chairman’s feedback to the Rector, Dean, HoD and representatives of the School. The sessions included tour of the campus, meetings, discussions and interviews with management, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and industry representatives.

The visit was very well coordinated and organized resulting in a productive and comfortable experience. The team congratulated FSM on the progress made in establishing new facilities for students. They acknowledged that the new building will greatly contribute towards improving the university’s physical environment and learning culture. PRT was also impressed with the quick actions and efficiency of the business school’s support staff.

The Rector expressed his gratitude to the PRT members for their thorough observations and appreciated their feedback and suggestions. A detailed report along with the accreditation decision will be communicated to FAST School of Management, Islamabad in the 21st Council meeting to be held in February 2019.
