The 3 days Peer Review Visit of Department of Management Sciences, Comsats University Abbottabad Campus was held on 26th to 28th December, 2018.
The objective of this visit was an in-depth review of the Business School based upon the nine key standards of NBEAC. The three day extensive review involved meetings, discussions and interviews with management, faculty, students, alumni, industry representatives and support staff.
The peer review team appreciated the hospitality of the management and valued the facilitation of the complex schedule which enabled them tour the facilities as well as make informed observations about the key aspects of the business school’s operations. They observed that the business school has worked on the formation and implementation of various policies and procedures which is indicative of their efforts to align their mission, goals and strategy with the vision of the school.
A detailed report along with the accreditation decision will be communicated to the Institute after the 21st council meeting going to be held in April 2019

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
