The National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) peer review visit took place at Mohammad Ali Jinnah University from 02nd June 2021 to 04th June 2021. The objective of this visit was in-depth review of the Business School based upon the nine key standards of NBEAC.
The peer review panel (PRP) held detailed formal and informal discussions with Pro-Rector, (Dr. Nassar Ikram), Dean (Dr. Faisal Mustafa), Associate Dean (Prof. Dr. Ather Azim Khan), HoD (Dr. Rubeena Tashfeen), Director QEC Registrar, Director Admission office, Exam controller, different Administrative Heads, faculty members and students while reviewing the self-assessment report in detail. PRP also had the opportunity to discuss the overall vision, mission and strategy with different stakeholders to understand how the school was addressing the various dimensions that are included in the NBEAC standards. The members of the peer review team (PRT) were Dr. Sadia Nadeem, (Dean, FAST School of Management), Dr. Shahid Mir (Assistant Professor, IBA Karachi), Dr. Usman Ghani (Joint Director/ Academic Head of the Institute, IMSciences Peshawar), Dr. Muhammad Talha Salam (Assistant Professor, KSBL Karachi), Mr. Usman Tahir (Director, Texlynx Development and Management Associates) and Mr. Muhammad Irfan Khan (Assistant Manager, NBEAC).
A detailed report along with the accreditation decision will be communicated to the Institute after the council’s 27th meeting.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
