The National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) peer review visit took place at Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) from 01st December 2021 to 3rd December 2021. The objective of this visit was an in-depth review of the Business School based upon the nine key standards of NBEAC.

The peer review panel (PRP) held detailed formal and informal discussions with Vice Chancellor, (Major General Shahzad Sikander, HI(M) (Retired)), Dean (Dr. Nauman Majeed), PRT held detailed formal and informal discussions with the Vice-Chancellor (Dr. Arshad Ahmad), the Provost (Dr. Farhat Haq), the Vice Provost (Dr. Tariq Jadoon), the Dean (Dr. Alnoor Bhimani), the Former Director Accreditation (Dr. Fazal Jawwad), the Director Accreditation (Dr. Kumail Abbas Rizvi), different administrative heads, faculty members and students while reviewing the self-assessment report in detail.  PRP also had the opportunity to discuss the overall vision, mission and strategy with different stakeholders to understand how the school was addressing the various dimensions that are included in the NBEAC standards. The members of the peer review team (PRT) were Dr. Sadia Nadeem (Professor, FAST School of Management, FAST_NUCES Islamabad), Dr. Farooq-e-Azam Cheema (Provost, KSBL, Karachi), Dr. Abdul Rehman (Dean, Islamic International University Islamabad),   Dr. Ali Imtiaz (Dean, Bahria University Islamabad), Mr. Mohsin Nishat (HR Head, Sapphire Group of Companies) and Ms. Sania Tufail (Senior Program Manager, NBEAC).

A detailed report along with the accreditation decision will be communicated to the Institute after the council’s 28th meeting.
