NBEAC’s 03 days Reaccreditation Visit of Department of Management Sciences, COMSATS Institute of IT, Lahore was successfully conducted on 15th, 16th and 17th of May 2017.

A preliminary meeting for Peer Review Panel was arranged in the university on the 15th of May 2017.  The team was given a very warm welcome by the University followed by brief discussions on the distinctive features of accreditation.

The aim of the visit was to review the Business School in relation to the nine key standards of NBEAC. The visit involved extensive discussions, meetings and interviews with management, faculty, students, alumni, Industry representatives and support staff. The team also observed the method of course delivery.

The Peer Review team comprised of Dr. Abdul Raziq, (Associate Professor & Chairperson, BUITEMS , Quetta), Dr. Izhar Hussain (Director  CEE, IBA Karachi), Dr. Ali Ahsan (Dean, Foundation University, Islamabad), Dr. Raza Ullah (Assistant Professor, Islamia College University, Peshawar) , Usman Tahir (Director Advisory Services, Grant Thornton Consulting) and Ms. Sania Tufail (Program Manager, NBEAC)

A detailed report along with the accreditation decision will be communicated to the Institute after the next meeting of the council.
