NBEAC completed a successful re-accreditation visit at Bahria University, Islamabad on the 28th, 29th & 30th of September, 2016. Preliminary Meeting of Peer Review Panel (PRP) was held on 27th of September, 2016 at Margala Hotel Islamabad.
The team was given a very warm welcome by the University. A series of comprehensive discussion sessions were held on the NBEAC standards. The re-accreditation team consisted of Dr. Muhammad Imran Wazir (Associate Professor/ Director QEC, Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar), Dr. Kamran Ali Chatha (Associate Professor, LUMS), Dr. Ijaz Ahmed (Dean Lahore Business School, University of Lahore), Dr. Salman Rizavi (Director General, University of Punjab, Gujranwala Campus (shadow participant)), Industry Expert and Mr. Ahtesham Ali Raja, (Program Director-NBEAC).
The main objectives of the visit were (a) Self-Assessment Report (SAR) verification in light of the supporting documents (b) Infrastructure analysis and (c) Interviews with the faculty, students, administrative staff and Alumni.
A verbal feedback was provided at the end of the visit. A detailed report along with the reaccreditation decision will be communicated to the university in after the 17th Meeting of the Council.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
