NBEAC completed a Re-accreditation Peer Review Visit of IQRA University, Karachi from the 5th to 7th of May 2016. The team was given a very warm welcome by the university. This followed by a briefing given by Dr. U. A. G. Isani- President, Iqra University Karachi regarding their new campus and overall improvements.

The main objectives of the visit were to review the compliance report (a) Self-Assessment Report (SAR) verification in light of the supporting documents (b) Infrastructure analysis and (c) Interviews with the faculty, students, administrative staff and Alumni.

In-depth review was conducted on all nine criterion of NBEAC as per the information provided in the Self-Assessment Report, through onsite review and feedback of faculty, students and class rooms visits.  The recommendations made by peer review team is based on the gap analysis that leads to the improvement of the Department. The University tour was followed by six sessions on NBEAC standards with the President, Registrar, Dean, Associate Dean and Focal Person of Iqra University Karachi.

The peer review team consisted of Dr. Abdul Rehman, Associate Professor, IIUI, ISB, Dr. Saqib Gulzar, Associate Professor, CIIT, Wah Cantt, Dr. Niaz Ahmed Bhutto, HoD, IBA Sukkur, Mr. Motiur Rahman, Certified Master Trainer from the Management Training and Development Institute, Washington DC and Ms. Nomeeta Maqsood- ITO NBEAC.

A verbal feedback was provided at the end of the visit. A detailed report along with the accreditation decision will be communicated to the Institute in July 2016 after the 16th meeting of the Council.
