The Peer Review Visit of NBEAC was held at Hailey College of Commerce, University of Punjab from 18th to 20th of April, 2016. The Peer Review team was given a very warm welcome by the University followed by brief discussions. A scheduled series of events took place on three consecutive days and a tour of the institute was given.
The main objectives of the visit were to review the compliance report (a) Self-Assessment Report (SAR) verification in light of the supporting documents (b) Infrastructure analysis and (c) Interviews with the faculty, students, administrative staff and Alumni.
The Peer Review team consisted of Dr. Zaki Rashidi, Professor, SZABIST Karachi, Dr. Abdul Rehman, Associate Professor, International Islamic University, Islamabad, Dr. Nasir Karim, Dean, CECOS University Peshawar, Mr. Usman Tahir, Director Advisory Services, Grant Thornton, Lahore and Mr. Ahtesham Ali Raja, Program Director, NBEAC, Islamabad.
Verbal feedback was provided at the end of the visit. A detailed report along with the reaccreditation decision will be communicated to the university after the 16th Council Meeting.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
