Reaccreditation Visit - Riphah International University, Islamabad

NBEAC completed a successful re-accreditation visit at the Riphah International University, Islamabad on 17th, 18th and 19th December 2015. The team was given a very warm welcome by the University. The main objectives of the visit were to review the compliance report (a) Self-Assessment Report (SAR) verification in light of the supporting documents (b) Infrastructure analysis and (c) Interviews with the faculty, students, administrative staff and Alumni.
In-depth review was conducted on all nine criterion of NBEAC as per the information provided in the Self-Assessment Report, through onsite review and feedback of faculty and students. The University tour was followed by six sessions on NBEAC standards.
The team was led by Dr. Farooq-E-Azam Cheema, Dean Bahria University Karachi, Dr. Ijaz Qureshi, Dean, Lahore Business School, University of Lahore, Dr. Abdul Raziq, Associate Professor, BUITEMS, Quetta, Mr. Sania Tufail, Program Manager, NBEAC and Industry Representative Mr. Nauman Shah, Ex- General Manager PIA
A verbal feedback was provided at the end of the visit.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
