NBEAC completed another successful Peer Review visit at National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Nust Business School (NBS), Islamabad on the 7th, 8th and 9th of October 2015. The team was given a very warm welcome by the University followed by brief discussions on distinctive features of accreditation.
The objective of this visit was in-depth review of the Management Science department based upon the nine key standards of NBEAC. The three day exhaustive review involved meetings, discussions and interviews with management, faculty, students, alumni, Industry representatives, support staff, and observing the course delivery methods.
The Peer Review team consisted of Prof. Dr. Rasheed Kausar, Pro Rector, University of Management & Technology, Lahore, Dr. Zaki Rashidi, Professor, SZABIST Karachi, Dr. Kamran Ali Chatha, Associate Professor, LUMS, Mr. Ather Imran, CEO Sybrid , Pvt Ltd. Industry Expert, Industry Expert and Mr. Ahtesham Ali Raja, Program Director NBEAC.
A detailed report along with the accreditation decision will be communicated to the Institute in November 2015 after the 15th meeting of the council.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
