Venue: Greenwich University, Karachi | City: Karachi, Pakistan
NBEAC successfully completed a three day re-visit of Greenwich University, Karachi on the 11th, 12th and 13th of December 2017. The University cordially welcomed the peer review team members and had discussions regarding the distinctive features and aspects of the NBEAC accreditation process.
Institutions seek accreditation as a means to validate the quality of the programs and services they provide. Accredited universities maintain a high level of transparency in their operations and offer learners a diverse array of student services that protect student rights, advance student success, and result in well educated, qualified graduates.
The Business School was reviewed in terms of the nine key standards of NBEAC. Extensive discussions, meetings and interviews were carried out with management, faculty members, students, industry representatives as well as the support staff. Observations were also made regarding the techniques of course delivery. This external review is the hallmark of the NBEAC accreditation process. It energizes and equips the leadership and stakeholders of the business school to tackle those areas that may be thwarting desired performance levels.
The Peer Review team comprised of Dr. Kumail Abbas Rizvi (Associate Professor, Lahore School of Economics), Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Khan (PIDE), Dr. S. K Shahzad (CUST) and Ms. Sania Tufail (Program Manager, NBEAC).
A detailed report along with the accreditation decision will be communicated to the business school after the next council meeting.
