Online Workshop- “Digital Transformation: AI in Business Schools” |

Objectives/ Purpose: |

Artificial intelligence has unleashed a wave of disruptive innovation that is transforming the society, challenging the established business models, and revolutionizing the workplace. The implications of these developments run through the labor markets in general and are amply evident in the market for fresh business graduates. The value proposition of the business schools’ flagship programs may be open to question in the new digital economy. On the other hand, the COVID-19 pandemic has led many universities to explore online digital learning technologies, an area where the first mover advantage rests with MOOCs and education technology companies which possess significant intellectual capital and market share. In contrast to the one-and-done degree programs, there is increasing acceptability among the employers of digital credentialized packages of learning and mastery that enable lifelong learning and upskilling. Today, the business education is at crossroads and the business schools need to devise new strategies for strategically re-positioning themselves in the digital economy. |
