Workshop - "Case Writing" Hosted By:
Introduction: |
Business cases are increasingly used by business faculty members across the world in order to bring real-world experiences to their classes and also to develop important managerial skills in their students. The students typically find case classes engaging and stimulating leading to better learning of knowledge and skills needed by practicing managers. On account of the popularity of case-based pedagogy faculty members are often interested in writing cases themselves to capture the realities of local business. This workshop is aimed at providing faculty members first-hand experience in initiating a business case in their area of interest and completing it for class use. The experience thus gained would instill in faculty members the skills and confidence to continue to write cases to enrich their class room teaching. |
