Workshop - "AACSB Accreditation Eligibility"

General Description:

This workshop is designed to provide participants with an understanding of their school’s eligibility and readiness to meet the AACSB accreditation standards within the suggested timeline for the accreditation process. Using examples, experienced facilitators will provide you with the insights and resources needed to evaluate where your school is in terms of addressing the standards and eligibility criteria while taking into consideration key factors that influence a school’s path to accreditation  - leadership’s commitment, faculty buy-in, characteristics of faculty resources, and the mission.

Participants will gain strategies for starting the accreditation journey, and learn the fundamentals that need to be addressed in an Eligibility Application.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Understand the accreditation process and fundamental areas related to a school’s accreditation eligibility and ability to meet the accreditation standards.
  • Develop a roadmap to address areas of weakness and identify appropriate methods to approach your school’s accreditation before submission.
  • Understand common faculty challenges faced by schools and develop faculty management strategies in preparation for accreditation eligibility.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Better appreciation of the importance of case writing.
  • Better understanding of the case writing process.
  • Increased understanding of the challenges faced in case writing and their solutions.
  • One completed Case Plan with its Preliminary draft TN ready to be worked upon for completion and class use.

Who Should Attend:

  • Individuals involved in their school’s accreditation committee(s) and/or processes. 
  • Leadership at schools that are interested and intending to apply for accreditation.

Notes:

  1. Workshop Registration Fee: Free of Cost.
  2. In case of replacements, transfer and refund, participant should officially notify via email/letter to NBEAC 10 working days prior to the workshop. After that NBEAC will not entertain any claims and changes.
  3. NBEAC may cancel or postpone a workshop/program due to insufficient registration or unforeseen** circumstances. In this case, NBEAC will refund registration fee but will not be responsible for any other related expenses including cancellation charges by airline and travel agencies.
  4. In case of postponement, the fee may be transferred to the rescheduled offering of that workshop or any other workshop as an alternate to refund. The NBEAC reserves the right to make changes in its program policies and fees at any time.

** If unforeseen circumstances occurs during the workshop and one day before the scheduled workshop, NBEAC will not refund the registration fee.

On 15th of August 2022, AACSB and NBEAC-Pakistan jointly conducted an online seminar on “AACSB Accreditation Eligibility” providing a unique forum for senior faculty and managers to provide an overview of the AACSB Accreditation philosophy, and how to get started in the process. The seminar focused on provision of assistance to Pakistani Business Schools to understand their school’s eligibility and readiness to meet the AACSB accreditation standards. Experienced facilitators provided participants with the insights and resources needed to evaluate where your school is in terms of addressing the standards and eligibility criteria while taking into consideration key factors that influence a school’s path to accreditation - leadership’s commitment, faculty buy-in, characteristics of faculty resources, and the mission. Participants get the insights for starting the accreditation journey along with road map and learned the fundamentals that need to be addressed in an eligibility application.

More than 150 participants involved in their school’s accreditation committees and processes from across Pakistan attended the seminar
