The workshop is designed to share an understanding of NBEAC accreditation's spirit and provide detailed guidance on the accreditation process, emphasizing the nine performance areas that constitute the accreditation standards. The workshop is prudently designed to cater to the needs of the faculty members/managers at the business schools presently engaged in or will soon be engaged in the NBEAC accreditation process. It will equip them with the knowledge, skills, and strategies required for attempting the process effectively, leading to a successful accreditation for the institution. The workshop will also provide insight to the participants into the concept of quality assurance at the higher education institutions, its different dimensions, and its connection with the NBEAC accreditation. |

The workshop is designed for business schools that are currently involved in or are preparing to engage in the NBEAC accreditation process. As a result, Deans, Associate Deans, Heads of Departments (HoDs), NBEAC focal persons, and those responsible for accreditation within these Business Schools can find value in participating in this workshop. |

NBEAC conducted a workshop on Accreditation and Reaccreditation strategies in collaboration with Air University School of Management (AUSOM), Islamabad. The workshop was designed to share an understanding of NBEAC accreditation's spirit and provide detailed guidance on the accreditation process, emphasizing the nine performance areas that constitute the accreditation standards. The workshop was prudently designed to cater the needs of the faculty members/managers at the business schools presently engaged in or will soon be engaged in the NBEAC accreditation process along with those schools that are looking for reaccreditation. Participants learned about the knowledge, skills, and strategies required for attempting the process effectively, leading to a successful accreditation for the institution. The workshop also provided the insight to the participants regarding the concept of quality assurance at the higher education institutions, its different dimensions, and its connection with the NBEAC accreditation.
Sessions on two days, conducted by Dr. Farooq e Azam Cheema- Provost KSBL, let the participants to understand and learn the concept of quality assurance at the higher education institutions and its impact on performance, the nexus between quality assurance and the accreditation process, collective role of the Business School in pursuing the accreditation, the strategies to attempt the NBEAC accreditation effectively and last but not the least the NBEAC accreditation roadmap.
Around 40 representatives from different institutions attended the workshop including deans, Associate Deans, HODs, focal persons and In-charge of accreditation.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
