Introduction: |

Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM) is a core functional area of the business school. The quality of the curriculum and preparation of the faculty are important ingredients of a dynamic institution of higher learning. The program highlights the current trends in the area and emphasizes the pivotal role of faculty. Moreover, it offers suggestions on the revamping of the curriculum and identify new teaching and research trends in the broader area of OSCM in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Further, the program highlights two main responsibilities of a faculty member; teaching and research. This two-day program offers guidelines for planning and development of curriculum of OSCM, and faculty members in the area and concludes with some thoughts on evaluation of the impact. |

Course Objectives: |

1. Provide a platform to academics to discuss and deliberate new developments in curriculum, teaching pedagogies, research trends, and student evaluation; 2. Develop some course outlines in accordance with international best practices; 3. Recommend new teaching pedagogies and evaluation tools including AI platforms; 4. Evolve some common research agenda among faculty members; 5. Evaluate the impact of OSCM faculty contributions towards overall advancement of business school. |

Who Should Attend: |

Faculty members with teaching and research interest in the area of OSCM. Ideally two to three persons from same institution should attend this program, including at least one senior faculty member. |

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
