Mentor visit of ILMA, BIZTEK was successfully conducted on 29th September, 2018. The mentorship program involves evaluating the current state of the business school against agreed NBEAC criteria, followed by advisory mentoring. The mentor was assigned to the institute to provide guidance regarding NBEAC policies and the accreditation process. The purpose of the visit was to discuss accreditation related issues and to provide guidance to the university regarding the accreditation process. Dr. Farooq-e-Azam Cheema ( Dean & Professor, Bahria University, Karachi) was assigned as a mentor to the university to facilitate and provide comprehensive information to the university to help them proceed to the next step in the NBEAC accreditation process.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
