A zero visit is the first step towards the accreditation process. A Zero visit is a simple one day visit by an evaluator of the NBEAC. The evaluator acts as a mentor for the zero visit and helps and guides the university regarding the accreditation process. 
 
In this regard NBEAC conducted a successful zero visit at the Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad on the 12th of May 2016. Professor Amanullah Khan ( Dean Faculty of Management Sciences, Riphah International University) mentored Quaid-i-Azam University for the Zero Visit
