Purpose

NBEAC’s Deans & Directors Conference is a strategic level event for determining the future of management education in Pakistan, where more than 100 deans of business schools participate annually to share experiences and to discuss areas of mutual interest. This year’s conference will focus on strengthening business schools through creating partnerships among the schools and with other key players influencing or being influenced by business education. 
The conference aims to address questions such as:

Can business schools be the leading solution provider to the industry?

Can business schools enhance the employability through entrepreneurship?

What vision and strategy will deans require to successfully sustain their business school?

Participants will address these and other questions in order to envision the future of business schools.


  Objectives

i. To strengthen the business schools through industry academia partnerships.

ii. To suggest ways to enhance research activities in business schools through partnerships.

iii. To provide focused recommendations to  the business schools for enhancing employability skills of business graduates

iv. To strengthen business schools through sharing ideas, resources and infrastructure.

 Participants

This would be the third of the series of four strategic level conferences. The event will be exclusively for Deans, Directors, HoDs , senior faculty members and other stakeholders linked with higher education business units. 

Deans, Directors ,HoDs and senior faculty members would attend as they are responsible for strategic decision making and to synchronize the internal business school operations.

It would be attended by Industry Experts & Entrepreneurs as close interaction between industry and academics is essential to face the emerging challenges.

International participation should be encouraged.

Inaugural Ceremony on 16th Feb 2016 at Lahore Business School - University of Lahore, Lahore, Pakistan

The proposed conference will be held at the Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore, Pakistan on 17-18 Feb 2016.


Registration (Get Registered)

Registration fee is PKR, 5,000 per person from Business School.

Registration will be started from 1st October, 2015 

The registration fee will cover: 

Participation in Welcome Dinner on 16th Feb 2016 at Lahore Business School, Lahore, Pakistan

Participation in Inaugural Ceremony at Lahore Business School, Lahore

Conference kit (Bag, Proceedings & stationary) 

Lunches & Dinners 

All Hi-Tea sessions during the conference. 

The registration fee will not cover Accommodation.

Registration / Facilitation Desk

Facilitation desk will be setup in Lahore Business School, Lahore on 16th Feb 2016 from 05:00 pm. Registration desk will be working on both days from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm in hotel lobby at Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore. The Participants will collect the conference kit and details from there.
