NBEAC successfully organized two day discussion forum on 26th and 27th March 2018 in Islamabad Club. The purpose of the forum was to align the practices followed by all the peer reviewers and mentors and to further improve the mentorship program and Peer Review Process.
Day 1 of the forum comprised of two sessions. The first session was convened by Dr. Zaki Rashidi (Associate Dean- Management Sciences & Director- Quality, Learning and Innovation, Iqra University Karachi). Detailed discussions were carried out regarding guidelines, roles and responsibilities of mentors and mentees and ways to further improve the mentoring process. The second session was convened by Dr. Syed Zahoor Hassan (Professor, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS)). In-depth discussions were made regarding the entire peer-review process.
Day 2 of the forum also comprised of two sessions. The conveners of the third session were Dr. Shaukat Brah (Founder Rector, KSBL) and Dr. Sadia Nadeem (Associate Professor & Director MARC, FAST School of Management, Islamabad). Comprehensive discussions were made regarding Rubric 2.0 and peer review profile sheet. The fourth session was convened by Dr. Asfia Obaid (HoD, NUST Business School). In-depth discussions were made with respect to quality of de-briefing and peer review reports.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
