The Twenty Sixth Council Meeting of National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) was held on June 25, 2021 from 06:00 pm to 08:00 pm online through Zoom. The meeting was moderated by Ms. Sania Tufail, Senior Program Manager, NBEAC. The agenda of the meeting was confirmation of minutes of the 25th council meeting of NBEAC, actions taken on decisions of the 25th Council meeting, recent Decisions by the Accreditation Award Committee, issues for discussion, NBEAC Budget FY 22 and Progress Report.
Dr. Farrukh Iqbal (Chairman NBEAC) welcomed the members to the 26th council meeting. Mr. Ahtesham Ali Raja, PD-NBEAC introduced the agenda items. Six business schools had been considered for NBEAC accreditation since the last council meeting. The recommendations of Accreditation Award Committee (AAC) were presented before the Council. The Council members unanimously approved the recommendations of Accreditation Award Committee (AAC).
Council members thoroughly reviewed Budget and Progress Report of NBEAC provided satisfactory comments.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
