Peer Reviewers Discussion Forum Explores Advancements in Accreditation Standards and Report Writing

Islamabad, April 25, 2024 – The National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) convened its 33rd Council Meeting at the Higher Education Commission (HEC) H9 in Islamabad. The meeting, chaired by Dr. Naukhez Sarwar, focused on pivotal areas driving the enhancement and regulation of business education in Pakistan.

The meeting agenda encompassed strategic decisions vital for fostering excellence in business education across the nation. One significant highlight was the issuance of MBA NOC that was previously issued by the Quality Assurance Division (QAD) but now NBEAC shall be issuing the NOC, signifying a more streamlined approach to accreditation processes.
 
Amidst deliberations, the Council meticulously reviewed the progress of NBEAC's Accreditation Wing, emphasizing the commitment to maintaining rigorous standards and ensuring quality assurance across accredited institutions. Additionally, the Council assessed the advancements made by the Training and Development Wing of NBEAC, underscoring the importance of continuous professional development within the business education landscape.
 
Furthermore, the Council proceeded with the approval of accreditation cases, reinforcing NBEAC's commitment to upholding stringent standards of quality and excellence in business education.
 
During the meeting, accreditation cases from nine universities were thoroughly reviewed and subsequently approved. These universities include Sukkur Institute of Business Administration, Institute of Management Sciences in Peshawar, University of Management and Technology in Lahore, Capital University of Science and Technology in Islamabad, The University of Faisalabad, BUITEMS in Quetta, DHA Suffa University in Karachi, Hazara University in Mansehra, and Air University in Islamabad. This decision underscores the council's commitment to upholding rigorous standards of academic excellence and quality assurance within our educational institutions.
