Islamabad, July 25, 2024 – In a major initiative to promote environmental sustainability and highlight the importance of green practices, the National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC), in collaboration with other prestigious councils, organized a Plantation Drive at the Higher Education Commission (HEC) premises.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests including Chairman HEC, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Executive Director HEC, Dr. Zia ul Qayyum, Chairman NAEAC, Dr. Fayyaz-Ul-Hassan Sahi, Secretary NAEAC, Dr. Abdull Ghaffar, Program Director NBEAC, Mr. Ahtesham Ali Raja, and Mr. Tahir from MSJWF (Muhammad Sabir Junagarhwala Welfare Foundation), along with other Director Generals from various departments of HEC. Their active participation in the plantation activities underscored HEC's commitment to environmental stewardship and the pivotal role academic institutions play in fostering a greener future. The plantation initiative was further supported by the Department of Horticulture and PHA Rawalpindi.

NBEAC has three main functions: accreditation, training and networking. In its accreditation function, it develops and implements standards to improve the quality of business education in Pakistan. In its training function, it provides opportunities to faculty and managers to learn about quality standards and related matters. In its networking function, it provides a forum for business education professionals to learn from each other through conferences and seminars.
