TDW is currently conducting a multi-module training program titled “Strategic Planning and Implementation (SPI) in a Business School.” This transformative initiative aims to equip business schools with the tools and frameworks necessary for effective strategic planning and goal-setting.

The first session of the training was held online on December 2, 2024. The second session took place on-site at Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS), Karachi, on December 16-17, 2024, through a collaborative partnership with DUHS. The third session is scheduled to be conducted on
December 30, 2024.

The training provides a unique platform for participating business schools to embark on a comprehensive strategic planning journey. Each institution works on its tailored strategic plan, guided by core principles of strategic management. Through this process, participants assess current contextual realities, define future visions, articulate core values and missions, and refine long-term strategic goals. By integrating goal-setting, resource alignment, and operational planning, the training enables institutions to optimize their strengths and realize their aspirations.

Renowned trainers, Dr. Jawad Syed, Professor at LUMS, and Dr. Zaki Rashidi, Dean and Director of Iqra University Karachi, are facilitating the sessions. Their expertise provides invaluable insights into the strategic planning process, ensuring a rich learning experience for all participants.

This initiative is generously supported by leading academic institutions, including NUST, The University of Lahore, SZABIST, Forman Christian College, Lahore Garrison University (LGU), University of Central Punjab (UCP), and Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS). Their collaborative support underscores a shared commitment to advancing strategic excellence in higher education.
